Who We Are
CET was established in 1971 under a government rule with the support of the Rothschild Foundation, and is now an independent, non-profit organization, funded mainly from its own income-generating projects, and from cooperative ventures. In its 37 years of activity, CET has invested significant resources in carrying out its social mission, and has established its expertise and reputation in the education system in Israel, especially as the largest and most professional textbook publisher and as the developer and introducer of advanced technologies in schools on a large scale.
Our core competencies of content development, technology and pedagogy, professional development, and evaluation, coupled with our guiding values of professionalism, innovation, social responsibility and a service oriented outlook, combine to make CET the major comprehensive resource for ICT based educational materials and innovation in the State of Israel.
